AquiferTest Pro v.3.5
is the latest software technology for graphical analysis and reporting of pumping test and slug data. This powerful yet easy-to-use program has everything you need to quickly and easily calculate the hydraulic properties of your aquifer using a comprehensive selection of pumping test and slug test solution methods for:
- Confined aquifers
- Unconfined aquifers
- Leaky aquifers
- Fractured rock aquifers
AquiferTest Pro 3.5 now includes 6 powerful forward/predictive solution methods. Forward solutions, also known as predictive analyses, represent a
new methodology for analyzing pumping test data. Instead of matching field data (observed draw-down data) to a given set of curves, forward solutions allow you to calculate water levels/drawdown at any given point,
based on estimated transmissivity and storativity. This allows you to:
- Optimize planning for future pumping well locations
- Develop more effective pumping rates and durations
- Understand the effects of well interference
- Improve the design of pumping tests
AquiferTest Pro 3.5 leverages the latest software development technologies to give you the best available software solution for managing,
interpreting and presenting your aquifer testing data.
AquiferTest Main Features
Project Setup Features for AquiferTest
- Customizable units for length, time, conductivity and transmissivity
- Import basemaps from common graphical formats (.dxf, .bmp, .wmf, .jpg, etc.)
- Display well locations on the basemap (point-and-click to add more wells)
- Import your company logo and enter your company name for printed results
Data Entry Features for AquiferTest
- Microsoft Access database is used to store and manage data in a project-oriented data structure
- Intuitive data entry forms
- Cut-and-paste data from ASCII text files and Excel spreadsheet file
- Import and filter data from virtually any data logger file
- Customizable water level datum (top-of-casing, sea level, or benchmark)
- On-screen display of water level vs. time graph
- Direct link between the water level table and graphs (click a data point on the graph and it is selected in the table)
- Quickly navigate to all your data using the Project Data Tree
- Right-mouse-click access to all data and analysis options
Data Analysis Features for AquiferTest
- Use the Method Selection Advisor to select the appropriate solution method for your aquifer conditions (based on ASTM guidelines)
- Choose from a comprehensive selection of pumping test solution methods for confined, unconfined, leaky and fractured rock aquifers
- Simultaneously analyze data from several different pumping tests
- Easily compare and interpret different solutions for the same data set
- Analysis Status Report tells you when you are missing data and how to correct your data for each analysis method
- Convert confined data to unconfined data using the Jacob correction factor
- Easily remove selected data from an analysis graph using automated filters
- Fit your data using manual or automatic curve matching (for all data in a series or only for selected data in a series)
- Use the Pumping Test Planner to predict time-drawdown at a point or distance-drawdown curves along a line
Graphs and Printing Features for AquiferTest
- Customize the appearance of the graphs (titles, fonts, lines, axes, etc.)
- Zoom in or zoom out to get a better view of the data
- Print the map view, tabulated data and analysis graphs using professional report layouts or use the built-in report editing tool to customize
your own page layouts
- Export graphs to graphics files (.bmp, .jpg, .wmf, and .emf)
